SECTION 00100 INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for construction of City of Belgrade Water Supply Well #7 will be received by City of Belgrade at the office of the City Clerk - City Hall 91 East Central, Belgrade, Montana until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 1, 2017 and then publicly opened and read aloud. The project consists of: Install one water supply well designated as Belgrade Well #7. The well shall be constructed at 16-inch diameter, and shall include a 20-inch diameter (minimum) surface seal and a 16-inch diameter telescoping well screen assembly. Development, plumbness and alignment testing, and hydraulic testing is included in the work. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work as detailed in technical specifications TS01, Section 1.5 SUMMARY OF WORK. The contract documents consisting of Drawings and Project Manual may be examined or obtained at the office of TD&H Engineering 234 East Babcock Street, Bozeman Montana in accordance with Article 2.01 of Instructions To Bidders. Required deposit is $ 50.00 per set, which is not refundable. CONTRACTORS and any of the CONTRACTORS' subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. CONTRACTOR will be required to have a Belgrade business license to do the work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Belgrade, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided.
