The Bozeman Police reported a what appears to be a murder-suicide Wednesday morning, the department said in a release Wednesday afternoon.
Bozeman police officers were responding to a welfare check at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Longbow Lane on the city’s northwest side, police reported.
“Upon arrival, officers located what appears at this time to be a homicide/ suicide, with a deceased adult male and a deceased adult female,” police officials said in a release.
Bozeman Police is working with the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the incident. The name were withheld at press time until the family was notified.
“Based on the current investigation, there does not appear to be any concern for the safety of the public, and this appears to be an isolated incident,” officials said in a report.
