Low Impact Cardio with Gale Bacon | Every Monday and Wednesday

from 6-7 PM

Back by popular demand, Gale Bacon will lead an aerobics class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wear your sneakers and bring your water bottle. Starting January 7. No session January 16, January 21, or February 18. Last session March 25.

Gentle Yoga Series with Terry Hawley | Every Tuesday from 1-2PM

Mats and accessories available for those who do not have their own. Starting January 8. Last session March 26.

Adult Crafternoon | Fri Jan 11 from 1:00-2:30PM

Wonderlust Community Event: SW MT Raptors | Thu Jan 31 from 6:00-7:30PM

Steve Hoffman will introduce us to the 17 raptor species in Montana. Have you ever wanted to sharpen your identification skills of SW Montana’s spectacular birds of prey? If so, this is the workshop for you! Steve will illustrate all 17 raptor species found in SW Montana as a backdrop for his discussion of the identification, natural history and conservation of these remarkable predatory birds. Youth Events in January

Winter Reading Begins Sat Dec 1

This year’s theme is “Let it Snow: A Blizzard of Books” and will feature activities for children of all ages. Be sure to come by the library and pick up a book bingo sheet. When you get your sheet you will also select a book to get you started with your reading, a bookmark, and a pin-back button. Once you complete a bingo, you can turn in the sheet and enter to win one of seven different prizes! Winter reading is sponsored by NorthWestern Energy.

TAG Meeting | Tue Jan 8 from 6-7 PM

Join us for the January TAG meeting: If you’re in grades 6-12 and interested in getting some volunteer hours, planning events for other teens, and generally hanging out at the library make sure you stop by to see what it’s all about! At this meeting, we’ll be debriefing from the Winter Reading Escape Room event and planning the Teen Movie Night in February.

LEGO & Board Game Club | Wed Jan 9 from 3:45-5:15PM

Join us every second Wednesday from 3:45-5:15PM for Lego building and board games. Bring your own game or use the library’s collection to have fun with your friends! Grades K – 6th.

Beyond the Book: Toddler Learning Time | Tue Jan 15 from 11:15AM-12:15PM

This is a space for learning through play. We’ll explore the alphabet, science, math, and other concepts through reading, singing, play, and socialization. Free and open to children ages 18 months to 3 years with caregivers.

Coding Club | Wed Jan 16 from 3:45-5:15PM

Interested in learning to code? Come to the library every third Wednesday to learn the basics of coding through games and simple computer challenges. Open to 5th - 8th graders.
