A Montana woman has been sentenced to 37 months in a federal prison and two years probation after pleading guilty involuntary manslaughter after a fatal car accident where was she driving 102 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone.

Feather Lynn Stillsmoking, 32 of Cut Bank, pleaded guilty to the involuntary manslaughter as well as an assault charge in December. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 2 on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in March 2022.
